In honour of Gotham turning 21 on March 25th, we hope you raise a glass with us (virtually) and toast to this auspicious “coming of age” birthday.
1oz Bombay gin
1oz lemon juice
1oz hibiscus syrup
2 dash cardamom bitters
Domain Chandon sparkling wine
Add all ingredients (except sparkling wine) to a Boston shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into your favourite flute. Top with sparkling wine and add a brandied cherry for garnish.
To make Hibiscus Syrup
4 cups water
3 cups sugar
1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
Bring all ingredients to a boil.
Remove from heat, and let mixture steep for 30 mins
Double strain – and store in sterilized glass container/bottle in fridge
